The founder of Budoshinkai Martial Arts is Dr. George Adams, Kyoshi. The title 'Kyoshi' is a prestigious title, in martial arts, which was awarded to George Adams by Hanshi Fredric Absher, Head of the 'Kojosho Karate Shinkokai'.  He has over 37 years experience in martial arts and currently holds a Black Belt 8th Degree.

Many years of training has gone into what Budoshinkai Karate Jitsu is today.  Although based on traditional Karate, there are other components that make up this martial art.  Kyoshi Adams has spent many years on each particular art before branching on his own.

George Adams is an internationally recognised martial arts instructor and has travelled the United States of America (in the mid '90's) conducting numerous martial arts seminars including the Detroit Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Swanton Police Department and the U.S. Coastguard.
