Why You Should Train With Us
Our martial art incoorperates Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing & Grappling which form a Mixed Martial Arts system. Each class is built around dynamic energy to get you energised & motivated to bring out the best in you.
Unfortunately, we live in a life of undesirables and there may be a time when protection of yourself or your loved ones may become a crucial part of your life. This is why we have to ensure we provide the best possible methods and training to deal with adverse situations. Consider this an insurance policy, in other words, 'don't install an alarm in your house after being burgles'; do something about it beforehand. The same goes for protection; 'don't wait to take up the martial arts after you've had an incident'. Gain confidence with the best chance possible. Parents, particularly, are always concerned with the safety of their children when they are not around so it makes sense for them to be enrolled in a martial arts school.
Our Aims and Goals
Our aims are to teach persons of different levels of abilities in a warm and family environment which has seen many children grow up in the martial arts and succeeding in all walks of life. This school has proved, time and time again, that the martial arts taught to its students have proved successful in protection of individuals and loved ones. This school is where you go and want to learn Reality Based Self Defence which is taught by the most experience Instructors, Dr George Adams and International Martial Arts experts, Hanshi Tino Ceberano, Shihan Richard Norton and Master Grappler John Will.
Our goals are to build our students into Black Belt Champions; to make our students more successful in life through the practice of their martial arts, and to always influence them in a positive manner. To accomplish this, we must instill the Champion's Attitude; to set goals for self improvement, and to develop the non quitting spirit that is necessary to overcome obstacles and to be more successful.
Testimonies
Chris Shai-Hee:
"Allan began training with the Little Dragons when he was 4 years of age; he has already spent half his life training at West Pennant Hills. He is now 8 and last week he began training with the regular class. The transition from Little Dragons was not an easy one because Allan dislikes changes in routine and from his point of view, this one was huge. However, Dr George, Jonathan and the other Budoshinkai Instructors helped Allan make the transition, they were terrific.
In the past 4 years I have watched Allan progress in the Little Dragon classes and can share the following:
1) The listening skills needed in karate have helped Allan in his schoolwork. Most of us understand what we hear and take it for granted. But some kids have trouble processing language and it has terrible consequences at school. Little Dragons in conjunction with intervention strategies has helped Allan make good progress this year.
2) Budoshinkai has helped him with his concentration
3) Budoshinkai provides a framework where kids learn about discipline
4) Kids learn about respect - they learn about respecting each other, their instructor and the martial arts.
5) When the kids are lined up according to their grading at the beginning and the end of class they learn about order, something that is sometimes overlooked in our chaotic world.
6) The kids have fun, lots of fun.
I hope the people at Budoshinkai like a challenge; Allan is ready for a new beginning. Thanks guys"
Jim Hughes:
"I enrolled my boys so they could learn martial arts in a safe and family friendly environment, and since joining myself I’ve had a great time learning from the skill and wisdom of all the instructors. The people are nice, the instructors are patient, and the skills we learn are priceless. As well as technical proficiency, every lesson is underpinned by real life application, training our minds as much as our body. Anyone seeking a technically sound martial arts regime with real world application should definitely check out BKJ.
